Arizona Law some more

GO ARIZONA! Everybody give your support! I am so sick of ignorant stupid people acting against this law! Example; the Los Angeles County School District is implementing a new policy and will teach in class that the Arizona Law is "unamerican". What!!! They are also relating this law to; slavery, Jim Crow laws, segregation, racism, anti-semitism, Japanese prison camps during World War II, and more.

Are you kidding me???? This law is nothing but a state trying to protect itself from illegal activity. YES PEOPLE IT IS ILLEGAL FOR A FOREIGNER TO ENTER THE USA WITHOUT THE PROPER PAPERS! How do people that have gone through, known people who have gone through or been through themselves; slavery, segregation (no we are not segregating Mexicans), racism (and this is not racism either), or anti-semitism (and no we don't ask to see your papers because you are Jewish), how do they feel about this issue, which is minuscule compared to SLAVERY, being compared to their hardships. I don't feel that is right! Illegal aliens are the ones in the wrong, not Arizona and not the American people.

Don't come to the United States just to work, come to be an American. Not an African-American, not a Mexican-American, not a Japanese-American, count yourselves with the Americans. Do you think a person who has illegally snuck into the country will cherish and magnify their privilege of being in this country like one who has legally become an American will? Maybe, but its not even about that. We don't condone illegal activity. Just look at the pictures of the Arizona desert! You decide for yourself. To quote a great American President, "Every immigrant who comes here should be required within five years to learn English or leave the country." and "The man who loves other countries as much as his own stands on a level with the man who loves other women as much as he loves his own wife." and finally "There can be no fifty-fifty Americanism in this country. There is room here for only 100% Americanism, only for those who are Americans and nothing else." There we go. If we could all live like this (fingers pointing at our politicians and premier thinkers) we would be closer to living in the America that Ben Franklin, George Washington, John Adams and Thomas Jefferson envisioned.

Arizona and Immigration... again.

I just wanted to thank Jenne for sending around some pictures that were real eye openers. I wish I could go to Arizona and actually see this for my self, but these are just outrageous!

Are you kidding me. And nobody has a problem with this? Obviously not enough people that many states would boycott Arizona products. Just wanted these out there. I am hoping these are fake. I seriously hope this is not what is going on. If this is, nobody should have a problem with Arizona, asking someone who looks like they just walked 100 miles in the desert, if they have legal identification. The article attached to these pictures mentioned the amount of human feces and soiled diapers is just astounding! Not to mention all the rest of the garbage that will get washed out to the rivers and the sea. If this happened in any national park activists would be all over it. Why are they not in the desert?

Marajuana

I don't even know if that is how it is spelled. Oh well. So what do we do guys? Do we make it legal and put a hefty tax on it. Make growers get licensed and sell it like liquor is sold at liquor shops? I don't know. I think I would say yes! Not to condone the use of it because that is still bad for you and against my religion. However, I do think we are waisting money when it comes to putting people away for simply caring and using.

In an article by Rob Kampia on alternet.org, he throws out some numbers. I am not exactly sure where he got them, but they make sense. Correct that, Rob is quoting a Jon Gettman, Ph.D. He said that taxpayers are spending approximately $42 billion per year on the war on pot (maryjane). That would be $10.7 billion on direct law enforcement costs and a whopping $31 billion in lost tax revenue. In 2006 alone, the FBI made a total of 829,627 marijuana related arrests. So, that is $42 billion, that the nation spends trying to track down, catch and "change" their ways, every Cheech and Chong that lights up a doobie. I think if marijuana became legal, its value would go down and so would its demand. It would definitely help the economy. Early 2009 Assemblyman Tom Ammiano announced legislation to legalize the drug and said it would perhaps earn $1 billion annually by taxing it. So, in the end we could save somewhere around $42 billion and earn revenue from taxes. Sounds good to me. Not to mention clearing some of the prisons!

Arizona Immigration Law

In an article about the immigration policies of the State of Arizona, Jonathan J. Cooper for the Associated Press, writes the emotions and ideas of several police units across the US. Police Chief Thomas Manger of Montgomery County, MD, says,"If they're not committing a crime here, frankly, I'm not sure how it enhances public safety to target those people for removal,". What the heck. They are committing a crime just by being here. The crime here is not being Mexican, it is having entered a country without going through the proper channels.

To the illegal immigrant; What makes you better than Jose Miguels, who waiting the necessary time to get his paperwork in order and enter legally? Are your needs more pressing than his? Personally, I think it to be a selfish act to enter illegally. You are making it harder on your fellow Hispanics who ARE here legally. This law is not the white man against the brown. Do not turn this into a racial thing! It is not. There are a certain group of people who are entering ILLEGALLY. ILLEGALLY. Did I stress that word enough? They will be targeted. If the lawful legal Hispanic citizens don't want to be asked to see their proof of residency, then how about you turn to your countrymen and say,"Oye! Que estas haciendo!" Tell them to go through the legal channels and stop causing them problems!

I like what Mark Spencer (president of the Phoenix Law Enforcement Association) says: "Crime is not based upon skin color, it's based upon conduct," That is 100% correct. 2nd Amendment

Don't ever take away our guns. This is our right as citizens, to protect ourselves and our families. Yes, the police are here to protect us and keep the peace, but they are not with us at all times. We need to be able to protect ourselves and pepper spray ain't going to cut it. Home defense. Everyone should have it. Have you seen John Albert Gardner III? The monster that raped and murdered two teenage girls, then attacked a jogger. California gun laws and our 2nd Amendment

California law makers cannot take away our 2nd Amendment. But, they can restrict the heck out of it. What these law makers do, is make rules so strict that gun manufacturers don't bother making California compliant weapons. Why would they change their whole line of weapons to satisfy California, one state of 50? Here is just one example of their restrictions:

What the heck!? This is asinine! There is no reason at all to require guns to have a magazine disconnect (meaning the gun will not fire the remaining round in the chamber with the magazine released)! Say you are in a struggle with a perpetrator, he releases the magazine on your gun but because your gun is "California legal", you cannot fire the last round in your gun and you are left to club your attacker. It just doesn't make sense. The only reason for this law is to make it harder for guns to be sold in California.

Arizona Law

Whats wrong with a little immigration check point? No different than a DUI check point. Get over it people, no matter which way you look at it, they are illegal. Since when do we condone illegal activity?
